Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ROWA application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

ROWA provides training planning and monitoring tools designed for rowing coaches and athletes. The Service includes training plan generation, session logging, wellness tracking, and coach-athlete communication.

ROWA is not a medical or clinical service. The training guidance provided is for informational and performance purposes only. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new training programme, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login details with others.

Each account is for a single individual. One account per person. Creating multiple accounts or sharing accounts is not permitted and may result in account termination.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Coach subscriptions and billing

Coach features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe, our payment processor.

Cancellation of a subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation, but you retain access to coach features until the period ends. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Prices may change with 30 days notice. We will notify you via email before any price change affects your subscription.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

Share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service. Use the Service in any way that could harm other users or the platform. Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without permission. Misrepresent your identity or role (e.g., claiming to be a coach when you are not).

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and software in the Service is owned by ROWA or its licensors. You retain ownership of the training data and content you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant ROWA a limited licence to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of liability

ROWA is not liable for any training injuries, health outcomes, or losses arising from use of the Service. Training plans generated by ROWA are recommendations only; you and your coach are responsible for all training decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROWA's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@rowapp.co. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
